Why We Include Larger Injectors
Fueling is one area where we believe in leaving room to grow. The Injector Dynamics 1340cc injectors provide additional capacity for customers considering more power, E85, or flex fuel when paired with the appropriate fuel-system upgrades and calibration.
That headroom also matters under demanding conditions. Higher loads and hot-weather operation make proper fueling and temperature management especially important. The goal is to give your tuner the capacity to maintain the required fuel mixture and appropriate protection strategies without building around an injector that is already near its limit.
Why We Selected H.O. GREEN Cats
Not all high-flow cats are built for the same application. For this package, we selected Kooks H.O. GREEN catalytic converters to support the demands of a supercharged, high-horsepower build.
Their 300-cell substrate and 4.5-inch body are designed for higher-output applications, including forced induction. They give this combination room to grow while retaining catalytic converters.
We want customers choosing supporting parts that fit both their current build and where they plan to take it next.
Understanding Catalyst Overtemperature
More power brings additional heat to manage. Under sustained load, catalyst temperatures can climb, and excessive temperatures can damage or melt the material inside the converters.
The H.O. GREEN cats and additional injector capacity are part of a well-supported combination, but neither replaces proper tuning. Larger injectors do not automatically cool the exhaust, and no catalytic converter is immune to overheating. Fuel delivery, ignition timing, boost, air-fuel ratio, and operating conditions all affect the result. Misfires and unburned fuel entering the exhaust can also cause damaging heat.
Your tuner should match the calibration to your complete setup and retain appropriate engine and catalyst protections. The objective is usable performance with the supporting hardware and calibration working together.
What You’ll Need to Add

A supercharger pulley selected for your power goals and fuel.
An HP Tuners MPVI device or your tuner’s supplied RTD.
Tuning services and any required licensing credits.
Review your planned combination with your tuner before selecting your pulley and fuel. E85 or flex-fuel operation may require additional fuel-system components and compatible controls beyond the injectors included here.
